The10 Best Companies have worked tirelessly to deliver a formula for companies to be certain that their accreditation is as accurate as possible using a unique and never before used formula devised by leading universities from around the world. No other accreditation organisation has the tools and formula used by The10 Best Companies.
Over the last 18 months we have worked closely with three leading universities and their faculty leaders to develop a formula that would help indicate key principles within a company. A formula that would use both key words, presentation and a Q&A with employees to gauge a range for our Companies Index Score (CIS), by using this formula we are able to score key areas within a company.
Our partnership with the three universities that have funded research projects into Diversity: Return on Inclusion, Leading effective organisations, leading ethically: principles and practice and the future of leadership.
By using this unique formula we are able to adapt it to the accreditation categories on this website, in the future it will be adapted for further topics within industry.
We award accreditation based on the unique CIS score generated by your application. Your CIS score is scored on a fixed scale of 0 – 500 and if high enough, you will receive a status, of 1 – 3 Star accreditation. Your achievement can help you attract and retain the best talent and give you an accurate benchmark against which to compare your engagement levels year-on-year, as well as seeing how you compare to others. It is a standard of excellence towards which many organisations aspire, but only the best achieve. Achieving recognition from The Ten Best Companies provides you with unrivalled HR, PR and Marketing opportunities, showcasing your organisation as part of a nationally & internationally recognised and respected ratings organisation.
CIS score stands for Companies Index Score, and is a recognised standard for employee engagement. It is calculated by combining the responses to our seven workplace factors. The CIS score is on a scale of 0-500, although most companies fall between 245 and 380.
